Our Story

Maison Noir was founded on a single conviction — that clothing should be made to be kept. In an age of the disposable, we chose permanence.

The Materials

Sourced from the world's finest mills

Virgin wool from Yorkshire. Cashmere from Inner Mongolia. Japanese selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms. We travel to the source so that every fibre earns its place in the collection.

The Craft

Made by hand, in limited runs

Our garments are cut and sewn in small family-run ateliers where a single tailor sees a piece through from first stitch to final press. We produce in limited quantities — never in excess — so that nothing is wasted and everything is considered.
